Imagine strolling through 66 Mediterranean and tropical aquariums, home to more than 11,000 specimens of 450 different species. The Oceanarium, the most spectacular of all, will allow you to walk through a transparent tunnel of more than 80 meters, making you feel as if you were swimming among sharks, rays and moray eels in their natural habitat.
In addition to exploring the beauty of the Mediterranean, you will be able to discover species from the Red Sea, the Caribbean and the Great Barrier Reef in our tropical tanks. Since 2001, L'Aquàrium de Barcelona has an additional floor. In the Planeta Aqua room, you can meet Humboldt penguins, admire butterflies and jellyfish, and see piranhas, salamanders, frogs and lungfish.For the youngest visitors, the interactive space Explore! offers more than 50 sensory activities, allowing you to touch, listen and investigate nature.
